2014 Audio Contest Runner-Up in Prose: Ugly Pew
This week on The Missouri Review Podcast we are pleased to feature Joshua Wheeler’s radio essay “Ugly Pew,” which was the runner-up in the prose category of the 2014 Audio Contest.
Don’t forget to check out our fall contest, TMR‘s 2015 Jeffrey E. Smith Editor’s Prize Contest that awards $5,000 to the winner of each category: poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Winners are also flown into town for a reception and reading of their prize-winning work.
Joshua Wheeler is a writer from New Mexico. His most recent dispatches were for Harper’s about a video-game graveyard and for Buzzfeed about Spaceport America. You can find him on Twitter @jgwheel.
