A Conversation with Kate McIntyre, TMR’s New Managing Editor
This week on The Missouri Review Soundbooth Podcast, we sit down with the new Managing Editor of The Missouri Review, Kate McIntyre. In addition, she holds a BA from Harvard University and an MFA from Oregon State University. McIntyre returned to the magazine in January of this year to take on the role of Managing Editor. She previously taught as a visiting assistant professor at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.
Her own prose has appeared in Denver Quarterly, Copper Nickel, Cimarron Review, and elsewhere. In 2015, she had a Notable Essay in Best American Essays, and she has received two Pushcart Prize nominations.
In the interview, McIntyre talks about her duties at the magazine, the internship program, the submission process, print versus electronic media, and more!
