News from Past Contributors
Rebecca Black, whose poems (“1790,” “Hiding the Silver,” “Hand-me-downs,” “Stomp Dancing,” “Bartram Among the Seminoles,” and “Bartram’s Ghost”) appeared in the 25:2 (2002) issue of The Missouri Review, has won the 2004 Juniper Prize. Her first collection of poems, Cottonlandia, will be published by the University of Massachusetts Press in May 2005. Black’s poems have previously appeared as well Colorado Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, Poetry, and Poetry Daily. She is currently on the faculty at Santa Clara University, and living in San Francisco.
