Carolyn Osborn’s essays have appeared in Hotel Amerika, American Literary Review, Antioch Review, Southwest Review, Southern Cultures and other journals. She is the author of two novels and three short-story collections  A fourth short-story collection, Where We Are Now, was published in October 2014. She is an ex-president of the Texas Institute of Letters and one of the founders of the Texas Book Festival. Her awards include publication in the Prize Stories 1990 O. Henry Awards, and a Distinguished Prose Award from the Antioch Review. [2014]
