Diane Simmons’ work of historical creative nonfiction, The Courtship of Eva Eldridge, was published by University of Iowa Press in 2016. Recent essays include “Anywhere from Somewhere,” published in Czech translation in the literary magazine Host (Czech Republic), and “Setting the Water,” published in the Fish Anthology (Ireland.) Her short-story collection, Little America, won the Ohio State University prize for short fiction.
