John Clayton
John J. Clayton’s fourth novel, Mitzvah Man, was published in 2011. He has published three collections of stories. His stories have appeared in Commentary and other major journals and have won prizes in O. Henry Prize Stories, Best American Short Stories and the Pushcart Prize anthology. Clayton has been professor of modern literature and creative writing at UMass-Amherst. [2012]
