Susan Neville’s collections of essays include Fabrication, Iconography, and Sailing the Inland Sea. Her recent collection of short fiction, The Town of Whispering Dolls, won the Catherine Doctorow Prize for Innovative Fiction from FC2. Recent essays have appeared in Ploughshares, Diagram, the North American Review, Image, and other journals. She lives in Indianapolis.
