Jennifer Galvão is the 2025–2026 Carol Houck Smith Fiction Fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. A graduate of the University of Michigan’s Helen Zell Writers’ Program, she is the recipient of the 2023–2025 Kenyon Review Fiction Fellowship. Her short fiction has been published by The Cincinnati Review, The Rumpus, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and The Masters Review. Her debut novel, Maria, Maria, will be published by Random House in 2027.
