Brendan Galvin
Brendan Galvin is the author of thirteen collections of poems. His recent books are The Strenght of a Named Thing (1999) and Sky and Island Light (1997), both from Louisiana State University Press, and the narrative poem Hotel Malabar, winner of the 1997 Iowa Poetry Prize (University of Iowa Press, 1998). His translation of Sophocles’ Women of Trachis appeared in the Penn Greek Drama Series in 1998. LSU Press published Place of Keepers in 2003. He lives in Truro, Massachusetts. [2003]
